    Re: Frame Transition Example

Nice Work, I like your method, (here it comes) BUT ... the one I made in TGF1 a good while back has a few things that yours doesn't.

I was going to use this for Lost Valley 2, but the project was put on hold for an indefinite amount of time. This is my first time uploading it. Could you be so kind as to update your version with some of the features in my version please? I believe your method added to my techniques will make for a nicer example than what you or I currently have made for this.

Your style is quite good, so I'd really like to see your version of what I have if you have the time and don't mind doing so that is. Thanks Marv!

    http://www.mediafire.com/?mz5ytj5jmtn

    It has the following features:
Visual Layer Handling for the Character and Multiple Enemy Instances
    Zelda-ish gradual frame transition
Infinite Re-use of Actives throughout the frames
Stopping of Character and Enemy Movement during the Transition phase

Edit: hmm, mediafire apparently has a popup ad now ... just hit CANCEL to clear the ad out of the way so you can dl
Edit2: that's odd, it only shows the ad sometimes? lol
    Edit3: here's the BOX.net link to the file: http://www.box.net/files#/files/0/f/43252447/1/f_438884061

    Re: Frame Transition Example

    Don't use Mediafire.

    Use Box.net (choose lite)
    Use MFA Repository
Use the File Manager to Attach a file to your post.

    Re: Frame Transition Example

What's it show for you on MediaFire? .. for me it's just a tiny ad in the way and that only happened the one time so far.

I direct link to the file, so you don't have to search for it.
Is there more ads or something based on the browser you use?
    IE seems to work fine.

MFA Repository is JUST for MFA files.
I made that in TGF1 so I keep it as a GAM file so even the TGF1 users can still look at it. (I could compile it in MMF2, but that lessens the people who can see it, so why would I do that?)

I'll see what Box is like, thanks for the tip.

EDIT: OK, here's the BOX.net link to the file: http://www.box.net/files#/files/0/f/43252447/1/f_438884061

Um, dude, so you copied the URL in your browser? The one that only you can see because it is your box.net account? You may want to look into that little link by your file that says 'Share'

LB: Sorry, Box.net is annoying already ... here's another link, maybe this one will work.

danjo: Thank You, it's not often that someone compliments anything that I do.

nivram/Marv: No pressure or anything, but it'd just be kewl to see a mixed version. I can't copy your style, but I know you can add those few extra things I've done using your methods and skill. I'm barely capable of doing what I did in that. It's probably the best you'll see from me for awhile. Everytime I try to make something grand, I fail. That example is one of my very few successes right there.

    Re: Frame Transition Example

Heh, I forgot I had TGF1 installed. For a moment when I opened it I thought MMF2 was all messed up, then I realised I was looking at TGF1's interface. That's a neat little example
