Platform movement - which engine is best?

Which is the best platform engine? There are a couple of open source-examples out there but which is the best in your opinion?

I like the engine by DavidN in his Fastloop tutorial.

But it's one of the few I've actually used :/

There's no such thing as best.

Do you want the easiest to use? Most powerful? Most features? Most efficient?

The one I use is a modification of this http://www.clickteam.com/epicenter/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=117365#Post1173 65

Here there's my platform movement widget which is nice, and then there's the dynamic PMO assigner at the same page which is a way to use a single platform movement object to control many objects.

I also agree there are no "best" in this case, it all depends what you need to do.

Thanks for your replies. It should be simple but fully functional. Moving around & jumping without the problems MMF2's default platform movement has.

I suggest the Platform Movement Object for just those requests.

I have a few examples on my website showing how to do some neat, frequently asked stuff with the PMO. If you decide to go that route I suggest a look.
