No, for online stuff you would use Moo or prefferable Lacewing, and for network-only stuff you use the Network object.

Why on earth would you use the Network object? It's ancient and pretty much useless compared to Lacewing.

There is no difference between LAN and WAN other than the hostnames/IP addresses you use.
What I mean is, is there a Lacewing object/DLL/something that will only work for the network and have nothing to do with the internet?? Because I really want something like that. You are right, the Network object is ancient history and I am stuck having to use it.

LB: Your local network is like it's own little private internet - an intranet if you will. Lacewing will work just fine there. What matters is what IP-addresses you use. If an IP resolves to another local machine it connect to that just as if it was over the internet.
