    Saving levels and items

    So, I really don't understand how flash works, but I am already working on a game with flash exporter on mind.

    The question now is, If I have a game like this:

    level selection:

    Level 1
    Level 2
    Level 3
    Level 4

    And then after finishing then all:

    Final level

    ---

    I know how to do this in normal mmf2, but I can't understand how flash would work on this, since I cant create a "save file" inside player computer

    I already played some games where you can come back to the level you want after you turn off, it is recorded on some place (cookies?).

    So I want to know if swf exporter can do this to me, and how, so that I can creat big games with many levels, and the player can start on the level he stopped.

    Also, could he carry on some itens? stats and stuff?

    Thanks a lot, this is the most important feature for me.

    You can use the INI. It is cached on the user's computer. Remember once the cache is cleaned the INI file is deleted.

    Good to know it works like this on flash too ^^

    Now I will just search for some .ini tutorials
