    Freezing frames

I would like to know howo to do these effects =]

1-How can I totally pause my game?

2-How can I pause just what I want? (like when you do a super in a fighting game, or when Mario grab his mushroom)

3- There is a easy way to slow down all the game or just some characters? (maybe by freezing every second)

    Thanks a lot =]

    Re: Freezing frames

I know only the answer to #1. I bet there is another way but this is how i do it. By the way I only know how to do it when a button is pressed. I will use "p" as my example.

Upon pressing "p"; pause application (its under the frame catagory) and click "pause and resume when a key is pressed. Do "p" or whatever you put for the condition. Then test it. When you press "p", everything will freeze, and when you press "p" again, it will unfreeze.

I do not know if this will be any help, but I am not really expierenced, so ask someone else if you're still having trouble

    Re: Freezing frames

For 1 and 2, you could separate your events into groups, and enable/disable them when needed.
For 3, are you looking for a slow-motion effect?
