how can I test if a string includes ":"

Hi, I need an event to only trigger if a certian string does NOT contain ":" anywhere within it.

I found the "search string" command under "special" when "comparing two general values" BUT I can't figure out how to check for no occurance of ":"

    I tried

    find("here is my string",":",0)=0

but it doesn't work...even when I know that ":" is not in the string, it still doesnt execute...

anyone know what I'm doing wrong or might be able to make a small example MFA?

    thanks much.

When the string does not exist in your string, the result is -1

    find("here is my string",":",0)=-1

will trigger the event if there is no ":" in the string
