is there a way to set up a background so that the sky and sun stay in place but the clouds move its a side by side 2d platform game

i meant that the sun follows the screen with the player

I think he wants to take a photograph of the sky, and use that in his game, with the clouds scrolling.

You would have to make the clouds a separate image.
