    Gravity

Is it possible to, for a platformer game, to turn gravity upside down (ex. the chacacter walking on the ceiling as if it were the ground. Can also jump and land on the ceiling as if it were the ground too) I don't want the camera to go upside down with it, though. (ex. If you've played super mario galaxy, on Bowser's galaxy reactor, when mario walks into the area with the red wall with arrows pointing up. I want it to show my charcacter upside down is what im also trying to say.) Is it even possible?

Yes. Just not with the built in platform movement. You would need to code your own movement with events. If you need help doing that there is a tutorial by DavidN.

Or if you don't want to code your own movement, you can use the platform widget made my Nifflas here: http://www.clickteam.com/epicenter/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=117365#Post1173 65

I don't think that widget was meant for you to use it. I think it was more of an example of how to do a custom movement.

    Re: Gravity

That's because it wasn't meant to. You have to figure that out yourself. After all, it isn't that diffuclt to do so after you understand the code better. Just study the code and get to know the concept of it all, and you'll be on your way in no time
