    Writing to a log file.

Guys... I know this might sound noobish but I just can't figure out how to append a 'new line' to a file.

I can append to the file and the items just adds on the same line.

Re: Writing to a log file.

You should probably use Newline$ instead:

    "Hello" + Newline$ + "world"

Wow that's fast... didn't know there was a Newline$ in the Expression Editor. thanks Jamie... well err.. since I opened the topic minus well ask a bit more...

Is there a syntax library for the Expression Editor? I have tried in the Help Contents but it didn't explain much about additional syntax like the Newline$

    Thanks again.

It's all under the different objects - click "Retrieve data from an object", and then right click (for instance) the Special object.

    Here's Newline$, for instance:

Oh... that really brightens things up
Didn't know the 'New line' option was there all along
Usually use it to get values for other object...

    Thank you very much
