    Some kind of sync problem?

I use a large AO to create a scrolling background. There are always 2 of them on screen to simulate an endless scrolling background. They are moved from the right to the left using Ball Movement. Whenever one has gone off screen on the left a new one is created on the right.

Within MMF it works nearly perfect, but especially after building the app, noticeable gaps between the AOs show up frequently. It even happens with a speed of 1.

Does MMF have some kind of synchronisation problem or do I miss something?

You can see the effect after building an exe with this example.

I don't know how much you can rely on the speed being good for that purpose. I would instead manually move the x coordinate of the object. That way you should get around all syncing problems.

Yes, speed isn't the only unreliable factor though, it's creating a new object at X=0

You're basically ignoring that your object moves more than 1 pixel per frame. If your previous background is -3 pixels more than your expecting when it destroys, you've now got a 3 pixel gap.

Here's your example with a solution, a global offset and individual Origins for your 2 backgrounds. This ensures then never lose sync because they're tied to the global value.

Also I removed the bouncing ball movements and changed them to X position + Offset

Experiment with Global Value ScrollSpeed. Super high values create a purple glitch on the right side, if this is a problem, Use a 'run this event once' to create a 3rd background with Offset value (2*FrameWidth), or just drag it into the frame on the end of your other 2.
