How do you make an application run on System Tray?

    I randomly came across this:
    http://www.gamebuilder.info/world/node/1017
Which is a program to eject the CD rom from the system tray. How do you make such applications?

    Wow thats so cool! Thanks

Do you happen to know if its possible to make the application without a window frame aswell? Like if I can make a character that does some random stuff while I do my stuff?

In the application window settings you can remove the window border completely. On top og that you can use the window shape object to make your application have any shape. You could easily make a mr. Clips clone.

You'll just have to wait until the Window Shape Object is updated to support alpha channel. As of now it's either transparent or visible.

Yay, this can be really fun!
But whats that about alpha channels? I noticed that the images I make myself have a white background and turns out to be squared, while an active object gets the active object form shape.. Is it possible to hide this white background?? It is actually transparent.

You should change it so that pure black (0, 0, 0) is transparent instead.

You mean on the active object, or somewhere in the application?
And if you mean in the Active Object, does this then mean that you cant have half-transparent images yet?

By cutting my sentence into half, you dont get the full meaning :P My images are transparent when I save and load them, but in MMF, and with all these border stuff, it turns white. Instead of shaping the frame into my character, it shapes into a rectangle with white background.. But actually, the background of the image I loaded should be transparent, from a PNG file.
