    Android 1.6+ for MMF2

Hey guys and gals at clickteam!

This is Kris over at Griptonite Games in Seattle. I was wondering if you folks are getting close to getting MMF2 to APK compile for android phones?

    Kris

Yep - it should be released before too long (1.5+)

Interesting... so that bug in the Android SDK has been fixed or some workaround found?

    [Hi guys!]

Oooooh I can't wait until i can make Android games!! My Galaxy S would love to road test some of my games!

Programming without an interface is hard work! Eclipse/JDK makes it impossible to make even a simple game without having ten years of coding under your belt...

I'd love to be able to use MMF2 (standard please!)

    Re: Android 1.6+ for MMF2

Eclipse isn't THAT bad. The big problem with programming is that there are a lot of tutorials on the net on how to program this, that, or the other thing, but very few that handle the theory behind it appropriately.

Being able to get the grasp on that, pseudo coding and tracking all your vars/functions BEFORE you sit down to write a program helps a *lot*. That being said...

MMF is easier and it's a lot less work. But it can be a tad limited.

BUT - it's not THAT limited.

I've got a Galaxy S now too and I'm just itching to start playing around with it. I'm revamping my current project with a scale value for running windowed or on the GS, and it's a bit of a pain. Also, after playing a few games I realize that there's a need to dedicate a little more screen real estate to controls. I can't STAND super tiny buttons!
