    Main volume and Channel volume

When the volume of the Main volume at 0, increase the Channel volume,
    It hears of the sound.

    Is this a normal?

    It might be.
Turn your speakers up so that it's very loud, but turn the speaker volume in Windows down to zero. You'll still be able to hear something.

Re: Main volume and Channel volume

Looki, that might be true if you have a poor quality sound card!
I don't think it is meant to be the case. Main volume 0 = mute, IMO.

Re: Main volume and Channel volume

    Of course I do.
I never gave a damn about sound cards... I can live with the fact that I have to press mute to get mute.
It would make more sense though, I honestly don't know how the volume is computed anyway.

Re: Main volume and Channel volume

Windows volume? No I said mean "MMF2 sound events".

    SWF: http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~bp-827z/...wf_volume.html

    MFA: http://mfa.aquadasoft.com/view/1282536871-swf_volume

When Main volume is 0, the Channel volume is increased. Then, BGM is heard.

Re: Main volume and Channel volume

He means it might be just because of the way volume works. He's relating it to the windows volume.

Re: Main volume and Channel volume

No, Flash does not propose a main volume setting, just the settings per sample played.
So the main volume actually changes all the channels. If you push the volume of one channel thenit will be heard.
