    Save games and .ini files

Hi guys, i have been trying to figure out how to use .ini files to create save game file for players of my game. I need to be able to save their position, their score (ammo in my game) a counter's value (money in my game) and their health. I also need to find some way of saving their progress through the game (it is a open world top-down game where you get missions from one person using alterable values)

Could someone please give me a very basic walkthrough step by step on this?

    thanks
