    Sword shadow of the leg, how?

    Lets say my sword is creating a shadow over my character leg.

    I know how to do that shadow, but, I only want this shadow to appear when over the leg.

    By the way it is now, I have the shadow everywhere, I want to do keep it visible only over the leg.

    I imagine I can do this with hitboxes... but I always had troube with area visibility, can't understand how this would work.

    Does the character have an animation with the sword or is the sword a seperate object?

    Its a separeted object, since I plan to be able to change weapons.

    I have no solution. :confused:

    If the number of weapons is limited the I would add the weapons to the character animations. Then as you aquire the weapons simple make the corrisponding animation available.

    Only thing I could think of is put the shadow on the characters leg in the animation. Then position the sword so it matches. No idea if this would work with how you're animating.

    Or maybe a HWA shader? Don't know if someone would have to write a new one for that. Or how it would work.
