Java is too dangerous for game, the memory allowed can be not enough!

Flash runtime from Clickteam is not free, and, even, Flash is a pain since some extensions don't work, and never work as Flash is Adobe proprietary, in case, some extensions cannot working because Adobe block it by security.

From Vitalized! applications, there is some other problems as "not able to saving". But.. you can use a Ajax gateway to contact a PHP script intended to write files with data received.

So.. Assuming that, Flash, Vitalized and Java are incomplete for creating games.

BUT, wait, i hear Clickteam work for importing Flash API, then perhaps after that release it will be possible to use excellents ways to skip a problem related to a lack of Adobe.

But if you use Vitalize!:

1) It's Windows only
2) People need to install the Vitalize! plugin (which they won't) before they can view your game

You don't think those are problems worse than not having all the extensions in Flash/Java?

Ah, Jamie, you said just Vitalized Internet application not run on Linux, oh.. sh*t.

So, for the fact which people must install a plugin,.. if i'm remember good, as it's start Flash also must be installed by people.

And.. his reputation increased because the people trust Macromedia (and now Adobe).

So why not trust Clickteam Vitalize plugin..
It make no sense from people.
(but for a developer-side, it can be).

Because the majority of people already have Flash installed, and even if they don't, they probably trust it enough to install it, since it's pretty difficult to have never heard of Flash Player or Adobe.

How do we use Java for it?

Under the application properties change the build type to Stand Alone Java Internet Applet

This will build the Java file and an example HTML file.
Upload both of these to your server
Then go visit your HTML page

http://yourserver.com/yourpage.html

and you will see your game
