    [HWa Update of Extension] Active Shape

    Ok ok, well, ActiveShape is an extension which can give to us the ability of QuickBackdrop with Active version.

    (as Active Picture object of Clickteam, but as a Active Backdrop).

    Today i threw all my work into a new project mfa.
    This project is make under MMF2 HWA..


    And, i see with despite the ActiveShape object is NOT compatable with MMF2 HWA.

    It show nothing, so.. Anybody can make an update on this object for working on MMF2 HWA please or not possible..

    Instead of making an update, can you making a new kind of this extension but working too under MMF2 HWA ?

    So.. Thanks by advance if you do that or even if you doesn't to do that ^^

    I would port Active Shape to the HWA runtime, but no SDK has been released. Unless CT wants to do the port for me or give me the SDK, my hands are tied.

    Oh ok, no SDK for HWA yet?

    So, perhaps with build 250 of HWa, they perhaps release the SDK..

    IT'S FULLY NEEDED i think !

    So, and, big huge thanks if you can port this extension intended to work with HWA.

    (when you've got access to HWA sdk.)

    You should perhaps ask to Clickteam for the SDK no?

    How do the other people for making HWA objects?

    Yeh I dunno why they havn't released it yet, I want to test a few extensions I have been working on with proper HWA support so it would be nice to have it available

    Well i have suggested they release a HWA SDK a few times now. It would allow things like baking of HLSL effects, XLua style HLSL coding and layering them etc.

    I think they should at least give the SDK to trusted developers like Looki and Retriever2 or just start adding these types of objects and features. I got the impression from other forum threads that clickteam doesn't plan to do anything with HWA until MMF3 now though.

    So, MMF3 is the future, actually we have MMF2, then they must focalize on MMF2 HWA too, because, MMF2 is the present.

    Well, so bad, i hope Atom is wrong.

    I really hope clickteam will make one though, as i said before they should at least give a SDK to selected developers.

    Err, that's not what I said. I said there'd be a way to use custom AS3 code in the Flash runtime.. look at the quote.

    As Jamie says that was about AS3 actionscript coding in flash. That will be a object and not a SDK, so the answer to the main questions about SDKs was basically no i guess.

    I listed that there because even though i have asked a various times and also directly with a whole topic there has not been a reply back about a HWA SDK. If the answer was yes i would not have listed that thread as to why it seems there might not be one.
