    Comunicating between two apps?

Hi, for anything 3D i do i use a different engine and use Lua and what im wanting to do is communicate or simply send variables to a mmf2 app from the other 3D engine or Lua?

Whats the best way of doing this. My initial attempts that sort of worked was simply a shared lua file with a list of vars inside it that i repeatidly saved in one and loaded in the other but there sync issues.

Any ideas... im sure there must be a proper way?

    thanks
    Andy

The fastest way would be communicating through a network socket.

...from the other 3D engine or Lua?
    Is this another MMF2 app?
