PHP to Java Socket within JavaScript Function call

I was browsing the tutorials and noticed there is a good one that explains how to return cookie values using JavaScript. Link to this Tutorial

Is it possible to create a php socket, connect it to a Java socket, retrieve the response, and return the value to MMF2 in a javascript function. An example of the php code is here:

Connecting a PHP Socket with a Java Socket

I would test it but I don't have MMF2 + .swf exporter. I want to make sure this is possible before I purchase. I tested the php to java code and it works great.

    Thanks

You can use the "Get object" inside MMF to call php scripts from MMF and retrieve the results. What you do in php is entirely up to you.

That's nice. Is there a max length of the data you retrieve? If it's a string, do you have any idea the max size of the string?

    Thanks again.
