    launch object problem

I've been having this problem and can't seem to fix it. When I launch an object i have it fire in the direction relative to the gun sight that is positioned over my mouse. But when I fire it isn't centered in the middle of the gun sight like it should. It fires off to the side so its not accurate. I have figure out the problem no matter what I try. I've moved the hotspot and action point. I've moved the coordinates relative to the gun sight, but no matter what its always off.
    Help please,
    ~Quenton

The directions are only 32 -- so if you want true 360 degree directions you would need to manually do it.

I remember a few very good 360 degree shooting examples but sadly I don't have a link handy.

Ok, I have the rotation done and well, however I can't get it to move. I try making it so when i hit the up arrow to set my speed but it won't work. You have any suggestions on that?

    Re: launch object problem

What kind of movement are you set up for, as far as moving up?

    Re: launch object problem

Well switching to the 360 movement made me change my character's movement to static. The 360 movement example only shows how to make it rotate, not move forward. I also want to be able to move backward (without having to rotate all the way around)

Ok, one thing you might try:

While user is holding the up arrow
    Set object's Y position to Y postion ("object")-3

Do the same for the down arrow, but use +3

    Re: launch object problem

OK, that works, however I need to be able to move in all directions, not just look. So now i can move on the Y Axis, but how do I make it so I move on the X axis depending on my direction(angle)?
