    aiming like a clock

I am currently designing a game where the player uses the mouse to determine the direction of its gun but using the bouncing ball movement or launch an object action for the ammunition limits the aiming to 32 directions.
is there a way that the player can shoot in any direction?

Here is one way to do it. There are lots of other examples floating around the File Archive.

Use the Vector Movement, it's a lot like the Bouncing Ball Movement but with 360 degrees. It's relatively easy to use (Use the Clickteam Movement Controller to control each object). The only problem is that it can only bounce objects at an angle you specify, and can't really bounce off of any surface without complex coding.
