    NG API

Sorry for the delay! Here's a beta version of the Newgrounds API extension, providing access to the NG ad/score/medal APIs.

This will only work with the full version of MMF2 or MMF2 Developer with the SWF exporter, not the Newgrounds edition.

    Download

Requires the latest beta update to the SWF exporter. Please report any bugs you find in this thread.

    Re: NG API

Sounds great! Will try it out when I have the confidence for installing the latest beta.

By the way, maybe would be good to announce this on the Flash Runtime forum instead here on the NG Ed forum as it doesn't work in the latter?

    Re: NG API

I figured since it's part of the whole CT/NG collaboration it's better off here.

    Re: NG API

And it motivates NG users to buy full version so it should stay here IMHO.

    Re: NG API

    Thanks for the extension

I would have to agree with MJK though, if people using the free version can't use it there doesn't seem much point in posting a zip download here. I think it would work better posted in the flash forum as i know some people might not have seen this yet and as a sticky post here with a link, because people will still easily find the extension then if they want to upgrade.

    Re: NG API

Oh man, I'll try to get the full version of MMF2 and the like as soon as possible so I can use this. I really want to try it badly. :C

    Re: NG API

This may sound stupid, but it isn't showing up in my Extensions list.
    At all.
For the record, yes, I have the latest Beta of MMF Developer, and the latest Beta of Flash Exporter.

    Re: NG API

How did you install the extension?
Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3

    Re: NG API

I've figured out the problem - it's something that may want fixing.
The extension appears in extension list of the regular MMF, but not the HWA version of MMF. I use the HWA as a matter of course and didn't think to check the regular version.

EDIT: Found a bug. When using the extension in a object's behaviour, it crashes MMF.
