I sold 7 games there and you have to know that you need to deliver a bug free game and be able to implement there stuff. it takes a little negotiation with sponsors to get your game sponsored. look me up there (evilized)

Yes, both Evilized and Steve Harris have been successful there. I have sponsored two games there myself, but they have done really well for themselves.

The 'implementing their stuff' part is a bugger. Just now I had to turn down another offer because I can't implement the sponsors' custom highscore API.

Yes selling a game isn't the hard part but sometimes they ask for stuff in your game like a hiscore api or animations/ads between levels, or tracking mechanisme for them, if your game is good you can negotiate with them, but sometimes you have to let a sponsor go because of this.

dizzydoo's octopuzz game right? pretty awesome.

Just make friends with sponsors and they will keep an eye for your new games. My Rival rodents game is still up for bidding, one sponsor did a bid of 500 but I was on vacation and the bid expired after that it became a mess with the game and last call thingy--long story.

My game Not without her was made in 32 hours and made 700 dollars and still cpm is running in.

You can always mail sponsors yourself without FGL.
    Works even better.

    I sold one for $200.
My advice is to use FGL and email together for best results
Put your game out there, and then keep track of the sponsors who viewed it the most. Then you email them in a non-pushy way to see how interested they are in it.
Don't sit back waiting for people to come buy your game. Take action.

    Re: "FlashGameLicense.com" anyone?

It worked for me - well enough to be able to make a living off making flash games now. Did lose a fair bit in the conversion to Euros and because of PayPal and the commission and all that, but still.

The whole API business and having to integrate sponsors' intros is a problem with MMF, though, so I hope it gets resolved in future versions. That would make it easier. For now, talk to the sponsor and explain your situation; if they really love your game, you can work something out.

    Re: "FlashGameLicense.com" anyone?

Thanks people, I fell more confident now!

But the problem with API and stuff... it would be better to already explain this in the first E-mail I send to the sponsor?

I understand now what MMF2 flash can't do... but what it can do?

It would be good to have a list of things the sponsor can have in my game and what he can't to send along with the e-mail.

    Re: "FlashGameLicense.com" anyone?

I'd ignore saying anything about MMF2's abilities. I might make a small note "Cannot include custom APIs" but I would not email them saying "Okay guys, here's what I can't do: blah blah no APIs etc. But I want you to buy my game."
That wouldn't go over too well. Make them want the game, but don't flat out tell them what you can't do. I'm not saying lie, but I hope you understand my point.

When you first break the news to them that they're long-loved API cannot be implemented, be nice, tell them you'll do everything you can, such as using custom sounds, graphics, etc. The things MMF2 can do.

    Best of luck
