    Although the API's sometimes are crucial for a deal, there's also a lot of things you can do. Like putting the sponsors' logo and links in your game. Remaking their splash screen is a bit more work, but also possible.

    And cannot we somehow convert those APIs in Adobe CS (4/5) Flash and add them as a SWF application in preloader or call them somehow by get object?

    If you make a game and you love the game and plan to release it as an iPhone game also, should you still go down the sponsor route? Are you still ok to do other things with your game of you want to?

    I would definitely NOT tell the sponsor about any problems before he hasn't seen the game. This only raises the chance that he doesn't even play it. Once you got him hooked and know his requirements, that's early enough.

    Granting a license for the Flash version is one thing, a license for the iPhone version is something different. Make sure the license contract states such details clearly.

    What you can do with your sponsored game depends on the license details, too.

    A lot of MMF2 users don't even have Adobe CS Flash, probably why they're using MMF2 :P
    An swf preloader sounds great....if you have Developer. And using the Get object you would need the crossdomain file with your game. There is an FLV object that you can load external movies from, however it was lagging for me. It would stop halfway through the quick animation, not finishing it, so the sponsor settled for just an image.

    So... basicaly, my changes of selling a game are way too low if I don't have Dev? because of this preloading stuff?

    No not at all. You can still use sponsor logos and sounds and links. Just put it up for sponsorship, don't say what you can't do. That is all. Then if you don't get responses, start emailing. When you have someone hooked, then you tell them what you CAN do.

    Just try it yourself. There's no set formula for what will happen. Someone may love your game and pay you a lot of money for it. Test the water yourself. The worst that can happen? It doesn't get sold, which doesn't damage you at all.
