    Problem with Firefox

    Hi everyone,

I'm having this problem when I play my flash game in Firefox, sometimes everything just stops except for the player. The player is an 8 direction movement.

But yea, any objects that were lunched, animations would stop no collisions will register. everything just stops.

The thing is I have not had this happen in IE. It's really weird and frustrating. Had anyone else had this problem, can anyone helm me?

Got a URL others can test their Firefox with?
Seems odd since its a Flash file do other Flash files have problems for you?

    what is your FPS?
sometimes there are problems with different FPS, such as Values.
IE runs with slower FPS and have better opportunities for colision!
It can also be your fault (Lines of Code)!

    Re: Problem with Firefox

@Johnny I realize it could be my fault, in some ways it could be better that way, then I could fix it. But I've never had a problem like this before in the runtime. Also I have no idea what my Frames Per Second are, or how to find that out in an MMF program.

If you have an account at Flash Game License dot com you can take a look at it there.

If not I also uploaded it to file front, so you can take a look at it there. That one is just the swf file and the generated HTML file that MMF2 creates.

Your game plays fine in Firefox on my machine (Nice game btw!).

To see FPS insert a counter object, insert an Always event and set the counter to FrameRate. That's it.

@JoKa That's good to hear, though I'm wondering what (FF 3.6.3) means.
