Shame it didn't work, but thanks for the effort! I'm sure many people appreciated that. I also tried your method but bumped into the white screen issue.
Question to all: what is the best way currently to do this? Is it this or is there any more "sophisticated" way of embedding the swf file? With some graphically intensive preloaders, using alphachannel png's to reconstruct the animation manually in MMF2 can significantly add to the file size whereas the preloader swf file itself can be really small in size.I think that there are some much better solutions on their way soon by the looks of it.
