    Another Silly 3D question

    Hi

I've been messing around with the 3d mesh object and was just wondering if anybody better versed in its application knew if it was possible to "match" it with Mode7 to add walls.

It's kinda hard to explain, think of Mode 7 and the Mesh Object as two cameras with one only picking up the walls and the other the floor but they're moving around the same so it's like there's only one (Perhaps thinking of it as layers but in 3d is a better way of putting it). If that makes any sense. Any advice would be great. Thanks

    Re: Another Silly 3D question

hmm it's hard to under stand what you mean... so if you make a "3D" character and want him to bump into a wall. But what happens is his head hits the very bottom of the wall so he stops? If that's the problem I think the only way I would know how to do it is to insert another active and make it a thin horizontal line at the top of the wall. then make him stop when touching the line and not the wall, so his head hits the line and he stops, but now his head is at the top of the wall not the bottom. I hope you under stand what I mean...
