Flash Haxx Example - No Right Click Menu

Don't you hate that Adobe context menu when you right click a Flash game? I do. I bet no one on this planet has ever wanted to print a flash embedded object. When was the last time you zoomed in? Why can't we, game developers, make use of the other 50% of the mouse?

Well, now you can, and by using MMF2.

Now there are a few limitations to this. Firstly, the context menu still appears in Opera, although right-clicks are still registered. Also, this requires javascript in the page, which means this'll only work for sites you have control over, so no Mochi distribution. But if you're self-publishing on your own site, or making a Facebook game, then this will work for you.

Download the source here. Thanks to Looki who... yeah, figured this out. I didn't do anything. :P

FlashHaxx is discontinued.. you're not really supposed to use it, because the patched config required breaks some games.

It'd be nice if someone could make this into a simple Edif extension instead (I really must do that tutorial).

I am really busy, but plan on making a tutorial on how to make an extension from start to finish using the new Edif SDK.

Re: Flash Haxx Example - No Right Click Menu

Same here, i have been waiting for a menu linking/basic use tutorial or a zipped source example (matching the menu) since it was first posted.

I have just been coding regular AS3 and not using the MMF2 plugin. Although MMF2 is much faster i have found it limited currently so it will be good to start using MMF2 flash again and coding my own AS3. So yeah a tutorial would be great.
