    Refreshing Highscore's INI Files

Is there a way to refresh a highscore object? I mean, say that I want to retrive the data from the associated INI file again, or get the data from a new INI file. Is it possible?

Also, say that I want to the position, name and score of the newest entry in the table. Can I get that data?

Have you tried "File -> Set current file" ?

It seems you have reached the functionality limit of the simple hi-score object. If these features would be implemented it should happen on all runtimes. I think all the old default objects will get a major overhaul in MMF3.

For now I'm afraid you have to manually use the INI-object and use the input boxes to ask the users name until we make a message box and asker extension to make the pretty asker box.

I have. There is no way to fetch data from that new file unless you restart the frame. A refresh action would come indeed handy for that situation.

Yes, it happens in all of them. Talked to Yves about this.

Cannot wait for this new extension

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but two highscores objects cannot co-exists in the same frame. Although you can initially configure them to use different INI files, they end up using only one of them. The only workaround for this, is having two different frames, each containing one highscore object.

It would be great to have a refresh action and three expressions (to get the latest/newest name, score and position in the table) in v251 (which is up to you guys) :p

I know this isnt to do with Inis, but i would add, it would be good if there was the ability to hide Names on the highscore object. I think this may have been mentioned by Jeff in another post, but just thought i would add it here
