How do I save a Blit image to an external file?

    Hey, folks!

While using the Surface object, how does one save a Blit image of the Desktop to an external file (PNG)?

After I capture a Blit image, the I/O save option doesn't work. I suspect there must be an intermediate action that I'm missing.

    Can anyone assist?

    Thank you very much!

    Most appreciatively...

put the filename with the extension you want to use

    "c:\testfile.png"

and override extension, leave blank ""

    should works

Hmmm.... I still run into issues with that... But actually I found another solution that doesn't require me to use the Surface object.

Thank you for your feedback, LB and FVivolo! I really appreciate it!
