Just wondering do you plan to have the extra library's and addons for this? By this i mean things like AS3Dmod and JigLibFlash physics etc.
One thing i like about AS3 is that it has library's that can be used by themselves or as expansions for others. If it could link to other MMF2 flash extensions like youtube, flint and surface to project/modify textures that would be really cool.![]()
I check the events and it looks pretty nice ATM, looking forward it.
I implemented animated models today, and I am quite proud at being able to get them incorporated into the existing id system.

I plan on adding a few different addons for this, but I am not sure which ones yet. Box2D should be able to work with Sandy3D without any problems.Originally Posted by Atom

very nice![]()
Thanks!
I forgot to add that I am at the stage where I could use some beta testers, so holler if you are interested in helping me test.![]()
Just curious, will Sandy also work in a normal exe? Or does it require Flash to work?
What about a public beta test?
Nice work and it's great to know you plan to do some addons also.
I doubt it since this is based on the main AS3 library. It is possible though but if you port a library from AS3 to C++ it would be a load of work.Originally Posted by Tiles

Actually it seems there is a haXe version of it which is a multiplatform language, that might make a port much easier to do for this library.
If you have not seen it already, for 3D in the regular version there is OpenGL collection -

Wow. Impressive!
Thanks Atom. I know about OpenGL. That`s why i wanted to know if you can use Sandy 3D in the normal exe too![]()
