Multiple keys (arrows) block

When a player holds both the LEFT and the UP arrows, some of the keys block (key presses not registered, computer beeps if I press multiple times).

If you open the game (uploaded at this forum thread) you can try this: Drive the "vehicle" in circle by holding both UP+LEFT arrow. While doing this, try pressing keys from A to Z.

The keys not working (for me) are B, G, H, N (also the SPACE does not work).

I've tried this on one more computer, and it blocks on U, I, O, P.

I have no idea why this doesn't work and I really need those to work? Does anyone know why is this happening?
(Note that in both experiments, all the keys that are not working are physically placed near one another).

Is there any workaround?

It's an issue with the actual keyboard itself, and it's *very* common (esp. on laptops).

There's nothing you can do about it, except allow the player to customize the keyboard controls.

Yeah I have this same issue with my keyboard... it's incredibly annoying. No real solution other than not using that combination of keys.
