    It seems like a really complex extension inside but very easy to use in MMF events. In other words, excellent work.

    Thanks a lot, StephenL, this seems very useful, especially because it works with the Flash Exporter. There are quite a few environments today which allow 3D in a standalone (using directX or so), but the possibility to create 3D content in Flash has to be considered very rare up to now.

    I have problems in rebuilding a working project... the extension is powerfull, but complex (propably because Sandy3D is complex, and the preview inside MMF won´t work before you export it to SWF)). A basic step by step tutorial would be helpful, like how to set up a primitive and have it rendered.

    For a simple primitive all you need to do is:

    -->Start of Frame

    -Create Box
    -Render Scene

    and it will show a box.

    For more customization, you could use the transform properties, and add an Appearance to the box. You can render the scene at anytime (before or after you create the box and Appearance, for example.)

    To show a rotated box with a color, lighting, outlines, etc, you could do something like this:

    -->Start of Frame

    -Create Box (ID "myBox")
    -New Appearance ("myBox") (Specify your colors, lighting, etc here)
    -Set RotateX ("myBox") to 30
    -Set RotateY ("myBox") to 30
    -Render Scene

    Does that help?

    Hello StephenL, I am happy about your support! I thought that it should be that simple. But it doesn´t work with me. My event list looks simple like this:


    But all I see in the swf is the background. I also tried smaller cube sizes like 50,50. I even uploaded it to my webserver to make sure it´s not a local flash problem. I would be happy about further advice what could I be doing wrong?

    Sorry about the late response, I was stuck in town all day!

    I didn't realize you were making the box that large. Move the camera back a bit and you should be able to see it.

    Camera Position --> Set Z (-1000) should move it back enough.

    Would it be possible to allow two of these objects in the same file?

    Currently, only the first one will render - the second won't.
