    How to view slices?

    Hi all,

I haven't looked into the various browser objects for developer yet, but i was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction so that I don't waste too much time fumbling around in the dark....

Is there a way to load a .html file of a web page into an object that will allow me to view and / or modify the origional slices?

I know that when a web page template is designed usually in somthing like photoshop the whole image is saved as a .html, and the slices are saved as 01.gif, 02.gif etc. I basically need a simple way to load the image back into an object so that the slices are still distinctly visible.

    Any help will be appreciated....

Also, I am ready to make some of my work avaliable as resources so others can use them. I would like to be able to place images of them within posts on here, but havn,t got a clue how to do it?

    Re: How to view slices?

The problem is, html is just text, and it links to the various images. So you'd have to load the html file, interpret it to find all the images and positions of them, load all of *them*, and place them properly. It gets even better when you find out that there are many many ways of putting an image into a web-page, from <img> tags to style definitions in a separate CSS file.
EDIT: Not forgetting that the position of images can be specified in pixels, percents, centimetres, "em"s, etc...

    OOHHHHHHH bugger.... brain freezeeee.....

Thinks the way I was doing things may be less tricky.....
