    Re: Loosing focus

So to keep the game from freezing if the mouse is outside the window, how do you code it?
    Something like:

    "always"
"mouse is inside window is false"

    Then what event would follow?

(I haven't downloaded the focus fix yet, just wondering)

    Thanks

    Re: Loosing focus

    Let me clarify my question...

What Code would you use to keep a swf game from losing focus when the mouse goes outside the bounds of the game window?

    Re: Loosing focus

It doesn't lose focus for me - unless I don't understand what focus is (I don't want to read 4 pages x_x )

Ok I read the four pages. I believe all you can do is code it according to what you need. If you want the mouse controlled object to remain in the last "legal" or "inbounds" position, don't do anything. If you want it to go somewhere else, just set it accordingly.

I may be wrong, haven't had the chance to test or anything like that.

AFAIK there is nothing to do to prevent the .swf from loosing focus. With the new condition "Is mouse within window" you only know if the mouse cursor is within the game window or not. Then you code what you want, like activating the pause when the mouse is out of the game window for example.
