(I have one other question perhaps someone can address...)
I have noticed a small issue with "install builds" (output exe files) built using the latest registered version of Install Creator...
Under Windows XP, the Install Creator's output program installer (i.e. the created exectuable installer file), work perfectly under Windows XP, and creates a desktop shortcut (if requested) with a custom icon.
For reference: I am using a standard 32 x 32 pixel icon (*.ICO file) in 256 colors. While the Icon displays perfectly along with the shortcut under Windows XP;
when the created install program is tested and installed on a Windows Vista powered system... everything goes fine, with the exception that the desktop program icon specified is not present with the shortcut. The shortcut is there and works fine - but has only a default type program icon which cannot be changed...
I am curious if anyone else has noticed this issue as well, and if there is perchance some solution or work-a-round to it.
Any help on the above very much appreciated.
(Install Creator is a wonderful program... I am going to recommend it on my website! This is just a small issue, probably isolated only to Windows Vista and its many oddities.)
