    Disconnect a specific Client

    In my Lacewing Server app I have a list of currently connected clients to all the Channels. I would like to be able to click on the name in the list and then hit a button to remove them from the channel. However when I do this it removes all the users from the channel!

    My code basically says the following:

    [On Button Clicked] -
    * [Lacewing Server] Select Client by name from List
    * [Lacewing Server] Disconnect Client

    Many Thanks,
    Marc

    If that client is the channel master and joined with "auto close channel" as 1, the channel will be closed when that client disconnects.

    Tested and that works great - thanks again.
    Any news on when the new build will become available?

    Re: Disconnect a specific Client

    It's not compatible with the current protocol version, which means the rest of the API needs to be updated and released with it. I'm afraid I'd have to suggest trying to find a workaround for now.

    How about having the clients send a 'hello, I'm still here' message every 10 seconds or so, and then manually disconnect clients that you don't receive it from within a time period from the last one received?

    Re: Disconnect a specific Client

    I'm thinking of having the Server send out a message every minute and then keeping a list of who replies.

    If I compare the list of currently connected users to the list of replies I should be able to determine who I need to disconnect - I hope.

    Is there any issue with performance if my Server app sends out a message to a number of people every minute?
    At some point there potentially could be up to 100 users on the system.
