How can I tell which Windows OS is running?

    Hey, folks!

I am trying to figure out how I can have a run-time MMF2 Developer application determine which Windows OS it is running on. I have seen both the OS and the Kernel objects have ways of returning which OS is running. However, the OS object only seems to be able to return Server-class OSes up to Windows 2000; I need to determine if a Windows OS is Windows 2003.

Is there a way I can determine that the run-time application is running on Windows Server 2003?

Thank you for your help, as always!

    Most appreciatively...

You could probably read the following value from the registry:

    ProductName

    It's in the following key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion

If you type "systeminfo.exe" at a command prompt you should get all the information you need.
Just use the pipe or console object to bring that information into an edit box etc
