In XP you don't get a dialog box appear however in Win 7 if I have an application still running when I choose either Shutdown or Log Off I get a large Windows dialog box appear telling me that my client app is still running.
I then have the choice of either Force Log Off or a Cancel button.
If I select Force Shutdown/Log Off the issues of my server app thinking that I'm still connected happens, when I then try and login to that PC again and start the client app.

OK, one of my builds used the YASO object to block the shutdown which is why Win 7 brought up the dialog box.

If I remove the YASO commands and initiate a Shutdown/log off then it just shuts down straight away.
However, the issue of the client app not being able to re-connect again still happens under any version of Windows.

That's why you have the server regularly ping the users. If it takes too long, disconnect them

    Re: MooClick & Lacewing

I just tested once more on Windows Vista (32 bit) and Windows 7 (64 bit) and on both, when I leave the client running and turn my computer off, the client disconnects from the server before closing. Windows basically clicks the X in the upper corner of the windows for me. I have no code in the client app to disconnect, the extension does this itself.

    Re: MooClick & Lacewing

Is this using the new build of Lacewing?

Are you using a Server that you created yourself or one of the public ones?

    Thanks,
    Marc

Latest Lacewing build, and I have tested on my own server, Klikfarm's, SortaCore's, and Le Dev's.
