[Bug Report] Multiple Touch Object is Non-Op

Tests with the Multi Touch object show that it doesn't register any touches or taps on the screen, nor does it register any releasing of taps.

That said, nearly all of the mouse clicking conditions seem to work. Such as clicking over a zone, lmb/rmb clicking etc., all seem to work OK and is a temporary solution until the multi touch object can be resolved to work on Android.

It also does a forced close of the app for me!
If i include the multi touch extension in any app i make, it wont launch on my phone (HTC Desire - Android 2.2). I get the little beta message and then a "sorry!" forced close message.

Indeed. It force closes quite often (if not instantly) when the multi-touch object is present.

Is content required to help solve this issue?

Re: [Bug Report] Multiple Touch Object is Non-Op

Looks like this works with single touches and releases, but when using the conditions that test for how many number of fingers are touching, such as:

"a new touch has occurred, number X"
"a new touch has ended, number X"
    (where X is 0 through 10)

Doesn't seem see the condition happening, thus the events set for it do not happen.

    Beta 3
    Archos 5 IT Android 1.6
    Archos 32 Android 2.2

From the docs as I understand it, that when using those conditions it would test the finger count touching the screen. Is this the correct usage?

Have you selected Android 2.1 in the application properties? Multitouch won't work if you select 1.6.

Re: [Bug Report] Multiple Touch Object is Non-Op

    Hi Jamie,

It looks like I did have it set afterall. No joy exporting as Android 2.1 while for use on Android 2.2. It doesn't count multiple finger touches.

I am using a counter to be set to the current number of touches. It displays 0 (no touches) and 1 (no matter how many touches more than 1).
