strange behavior for sub.app under swf

    Hi,

I found a bug in sub-application under swf,

1.- attach find an example to represent the bug (need to build in swf)
    test sub-app under swf (MFA)

In the application; presing the brown square will take you to the sub-frame and when press the softblue button, you will see that you get back and return to the sub and only if you press the red button you may return.

notice that the counter will count for each time you press any button in the sub frame.( my guess: is that swf app remember a mouse click and the area its happened)

2.- Not working in standalone java application

This example work correctly under standalone regular aplication.

Please anyone else check this to confirm?

    Regards,

Flash : this is due to the fact when you click on the sub app button (the one covering the other one), the click is also registered by the application under it. In MMF it does not happen as sub applications have their own windows, and they intercept the mouse clicks.
I would have to manually intercept the mouse clicks, it is not going to be easy. I suggest for the moment that you do not put two buttons one above the other.

Just want to add that this "click-through" is not only related to sub apps. It also happens when changing frames.

Noticed it with an AO used as "Back"-button, which returned me to the main menu frame. There another button was activated which lay at the same X/Y position as "Back" in the previous frame.

    Thanks Francois,

Already done you suggestion!, but in many apps the buttons should be positioned in the same X/Y.

Another question is sub-application object should works in java standalone format?.

Re: strange behavior for sub.app under swf

    Hi Francois,

    I noticed this.

When you try the example I sent in “java standalone application” you may find this strange behavior.

1.- if you set in the sub-application object visible from start the application works as expected.

2.- But, if you unmark visible from start and you create the sub-application object and do the action Visibility->Show , this command not work.

Going deeper, if you add the window control to the sub/frame and request to show when the frame start you also see the application works as expected.

    Hope this help you
