    HWA compatible extensions

Hi, I was just wondering if there is any list or something on what extensions are HWA-compatible?

Otherwise such a list should be compiled somewhere in the forums, would be really helpful.

    Cheers!

    Re: HWA compatible extensions

But I'm pretty sure all MMF2 standard extensions were compatible with HWA?

I recommend you get this file from the extension development forum:
    http://www.clickteam.com/epicenter/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=216589
It helps catogorise your extensions, and you can filter them to see which ones are compatible with which exporter.

    Re: HWA compatible extensions

Extensions that have a graphical components are mostly incompatible with HWA. There are some that have been updated for HWA, and some that have not and will be, and some that are simply redundant in HWA.

For example the Lens object will not work with HWA mode. But the exact same effect can easily be done through pixel shaders and background shaders, and many orders of magnitude faster than the lens object would do it.

Pretty much every non-graphical extension works in HWA, but theres a few hiccups with compatibility issues but I'm not sure if I know any that haven't been sorted out (select object didn't work, but I think its been fixed)

Yeah I knew about the gfx objects being mostly incompatible, it's good to hear that most regular extensions should work anyway!

    It has.

Another incompatibility to keep in mind: extensions which create a new window don't work in full-screen HWA. Sub-app has a "display as sprite" option now to work around this.
