List and Edit Box with real Flex components

    Hey there,

I ported the List and Edit Box objects to real Flex components that you see in other Flash programs on the web. It needs a little hackery to make them work, which Francois apparently was unable to find, so he wrote his own controls.

The advantage of these is that they support several options that are not available in the default flash ones, such as scrolling for Edit boxes. Plus, they look a bit nicer. RickyRombo requested something like this on Gwerdy, so I figured I might just upload them if somebody has finds them useful.

Make sure you have the latest version of the Flash runtime. Back up your kcedit.dat and kclist.dat in the Flash folder, in case you don't like my update.

Not sure about embedded fonts, would have to look at that.
Nico: Of course, but not now! I'm busy with other things - As I said, I just released these because I made them months ago.

Re: List and Edit Box with real Flex components

That is exactly what I have been hoping for :-) thanks, Looki!

    [EDIT]
I just tried it out and overwrote the original files in my MMF2 folder with yours. Then I started a swf project and placed an edit box. I compile the app as swf, in the swf the edit box is not shown. It does show well in the preview from within MMF2, but not in the swf.

Also, edit boxes I created in earlier projects dont´show up any more when I compile them to swf now.

What can I have made wrong?
    [/EDIT]
