Re: Chart Object & Ini++ v1.5 Update Release

    - I installed this in Japanese version of MMF2 and English version of MMF2. Then, one of files have been deleted.

Can this extension be installed in two or more MMF2?

And this extension can't install to the Japanese version of MMF2 (Installer doesn't recognize the Japanese version of MMF2, if not installed the English version of MMF2.).

    - Bug: Chart object is can't display a Japanese characters.

Excellent plugin (just what I needed!).

It says it doesn't work with HWA - is this a big issue or just a fix for the future (I need it to work with HWA for a project)

Just a bit curious- can you load INI files directly from data elements, like some other hardcoded extensions can by using their key string, or do you need to unpack them to a temporary file first?

Glad to get all those big problems worked out before.

Pixelthief: No, you cannot load from a data element directly (unless it somehow automatically supports it). I did think about implementing it, and there was some reason why I didn't implement it. I think it may have been that it still had to be extracted to a temporary directory for it to work.

Thank you for the nice plug-in.

    bug
When the enciphered Ini file is loaded, MMF2 crashes.
Load setting is "Load file into ini++ object""Set current...""keep old.."

It does, and I'm trying to figure it out right now. From the MMF2 SDK help:
    mvOpenHFile
Returns a file handle on a file embeded into the EXE file, or on a normal file if it's not embeded. The file is opened in read-only access.
And although it does not entirely pertain to the INI++ object, another interesting note:
If the file is embeded into the EXE or CCN file, mvOpenHFile opens the EXE/CCN file, sets its position to the start of the embeded file, puts its size to pDwSize and returns the file handle.

If the file is not embeded into the EXE/CCN file:
    • if we are in a stand-alone application, mvOpenHFile tries to open the file with the Windows CreateFile function, puts its size to pDwSize and returns the file handle (which can be INVALID_HANDLE_VALUE if the file doesn't exist).
    • if we are in Vitalize mode, mvOpenHFile first tries to download the file from the server, unless you have specified OHFF_LOCALFILE in the dwFlags parameter. It then tries to open the file with the Windows CreateFile function, puts its size to pDwSize and returns the file handle (which can be INVALID_HANDLE_VALUE if the file doesn't exist).
In my tests, all is going good except that I'm having issues reading the data from the file...still haven't nailed what the issue is, as the file opens fine. If you try to implement this and get it to work, Jax, i'd like to know how you managed to get it to work...specifically, the ReadFile function that the MMF2 SDK Help file's example uses is giving an error.
Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3

Re: Chart Object & Ini++ v1.5 Update Release

I can confirm the "loading file with encryption as a property" bug - it doesn't load the file properly. However, setting the key in an action then loading in an action still works fine
