    Flashgamelicense safety

Hi, I will upload a game soon and I am worryed about the safety of the site.

I know that the site caon encript your game using a special service, but this special service always breaks my game.

So my game will be unsafe and riped off easily or mmf2 has its own decryption?

    THanks

It is possible that your game might be stolen without that Kindisoft protection that breaks MMF2 games, but unlikely. Make sure that only developers with Market Level 1+ can play your game, that cuts down on the odds of an untrustworthy developer account stealing your game. Sponsors are vetted carefully before they get their account, they have to pay money to show they are serious, so you can also bet they are trustworthy.

Always a chance, but it hasn't happened to me or anyone I know yet.

You can and strongly should sitelock your game to the FGL website.

SecureSWF's sitelock breaks MMF games, so you should use your own sitelock routine as suggested.

However, the download version of SecureSWF works fine at least with the basic options. Which means you can add another layer of protection and use the Kindisoft discount code offered to FGL members.

Some say it's not necessary, because MMF already uses a format which offers some protection. I think depending on the amount of time invested in your game, it can make sense.

Could you provide more details on what the limits are ?

If it is possible to have the greatest protection then i want it.

A link to the download version would also be very handy.

I have the site lock routine thanks to previous help but if there is more protection then i would like to know more about it.

If you could help with the information it might be of value to others.

    Re: Flashgamelicense safety

Just get the demo version from kindisoft.com to run tests. Can't remember the settings which trashed my games (except the sitelock), because there are MANY options. The default settings definitely work, even on higher security levels.
