    Qualifier behaviour

    Hey guys,

I'm using an event to spawn objects when the mouse is clicked, which looks something like this:

User left clicks within the frame
create object "block" at xmouse, ymouse

This object is part of 'group.neutral'

I then have an event to delete the block when it's right clicked:

    User right clicks on group.neutral
    Destroy group.neutral

That's all the code there is - Now, in the past, I'm sure this would only delete the individual object which was right clicked, but for some reason it's deleting every object in the group.neutral. Is there a setting I might have changed in the app properties to cause this?

Appreciate any help & thanks in advance guys

    Re: Qualifier behaviour

I think it's where Clickteam has updated MMF. For some reason for example when I do "if object is overlapping active object" now, it effects all objects of that type instead of just the ones that collided and instead (although I give Clickteam kudos for this) everything else such as "if object is facing right" checks each individual object instead of only the first original copy like before.

Now I would make use of the ForEach object. Create a loop for the group.neutral then on that "if user right clicks on group.neutral" create an "if on group.neutral loop" with the ForEach object. You can achieve what ForEach does without the ForEach object, but it saves you a lot of time and hassle.

Can you upload an example? All events like this should be filtered to what you click on, that'll never change.
