    Reaching for objects?????

    there is a character you can move around.. and i want to be able to handle objects that are a short ditance away from the character.. so if you think about minecraft. you can only mine a short distane away from your charater.. thats kinda waht i want.

    Easiest way to do this is to set up an invisible active object that is always positioned on the playable character. When the invisible object is overlapping what you want to be reachable and the button is pressed to pick up the object, or whatever, then the object is picked up.
