    34k limit

    :cry:

    I made a side scrolling game by setting the virtual width to -1 and always setting the horizontal scroll to +8 of what it is. If the player gets above somewhere around 34k in the x position, the bombs stop falling. The bombs fall with a simple "Upon pressing fire one -> Create object "bomb" at 0, 0 of "player" and Move to layer 4 " event

    Object count is less than 500 (besides that I set the limit higher). All the "Destroy if too far away from play area" and the like are unchecked. I don't know what I did wrong.

    Is it around 32768? I believe that is the max frame limit before you run into memory issues.

    MMF has its roots in 16-bit code, so there are still a lot of 16-bit limits (+/- 32768 or 0-65536) in the code. I suspect the create object action is one of them.

    Try doing create and then set position as two actions as a workaround.

    I'm guessing that's what's happening. Perhaps I should reset to 0 before it gets that far, because the plane just disappears when I get that far in Flash.
