    TV Screen suggestions

I am working a horror flash game and have a television set in the game frame near the center of the screen. I would like to have the TV come alive with a "late night lines" screen glowing white, then off, then on. Ever been up late after the stations are off the air?

A larger closeup frame will show the detail. My question is for the full room screen.

May I have a few suggestions?

    Re: TV Screen suggestions

    Thanks all-

In a 640 x 480 screen, the TV is in the middle of the dark room the size of a quarter. I thought of using a small AVI file and size it down to the TV to show movement and glowing on the game screen, then go to the end of night broadcast horizontal bars screen. This is what I meant.

Could I use an animation to do this, or is it easier to use an AVI file. What would be the simplest way in memory?

An animation would be better for what you have described. You could animate something like this pretty easily, too.
