i don't really think it's fair that you get 15% AND links\traffic to your site for free, but you can take a look at my game if your interested in sponsoring
how big does your site have to be, for you to be approved as a sponsor?
Well it's a catch-22 situation. If you want CPMStar you HAVE to have a sponsor. The sponsor gets 15% whatever. You can't reallocate that anywhere or turn it off.
If CPMStar are going to allow me to remain onboard I've got to build up traffic. Ergo if I don't build up enough traffic and get kicked off we all lose CPMStar ads (unless you get sponsored).
You have to have 10,000 unique visitors a day to your site to be approved as a sponsor by CPMStar. I made a business case to them with references and they agreed to allow me to use their service but I have to build up my traffic very quickly or they will kick me out.
If you're not happy with any of that then don't use CPMStar via me
So here we go, I just released Fruit Dude 2 with CPMStar ads. Compiled it with Flashhaxxed Build 249, so clicks on links won't be blocked
You'll notice that the CPMStar extension allows pretty cool placement of ads. Therefore I decided to make the player's experience as good as possible. No delay, I just load the game and show the ad in the main menu. Hope this optimizes distribution and revenue.
Thanks for the opportunity, Steve!
No problem JoKa. Good luck!
Hi there. I have a game up on Flash Game Licence and the sponsor wonts to have CPMStar adds. They have also eccepted the buy it now price so I'm obligated to give it to them. But you can still check it out here.
So, could I pleas get acces to this extension?
Just launched your game and it looks nice, but the handling of the keyboard is no fun, because of the fire key Z. Some alternate key would be nice for players using a non-US keyboard layout (where the position of Z and Y may be exchanged). Anyway, congrats for finding a sponsor
I know this is an old topic, but thought that I'd post some numbers so that people can compare CPMStar to Mochi.
Plough The Skies eCPM - $0.77
Cave of No Return eCPM - $0.67
Plough The Skies and Cave of No Return were both released around a month ago. PTS has beaten my previous best game (which earnt a disappointing $150) on Mochi that has been up for over a year! CoNR is very close to surpassing it already as well. Those numbers don't include the 15% that my sponsor gets too.
Thought I'd release the earnings so far on Cave of No Return which has had a disappointing number of views in my opinion.
Total Impressions = 391,911
eCPM = $0.69
Earnings To Date = $268.59
In comparison my game Shell Shock (released with Mochi ads) earnt around $250 with over 3.5 million plays to date.
I tell you on my experience, at least when it comes to ad rev, they are the same but CPMstar has no minimum pay out with more relevant ads while CPMServe.com has a distribution system. So i decide to join CPMServe. Because CPMServe payment proof available on adswiki. CPMStart and CPMServe both good network.
